BEIRUT · THE LEVANT · THE GULF · EUROPE

Foresight from a crossroads.

Two things decide whether a move works here: seeing it early, and knowing how it will land on every side of the table. Achrafeos Counsel is built around those two. We structure and execute private capital transactions, we take companies from intention to deployment on digital and artificial intelligence, and we hold the whole picture for families and their offices.

Practices

Three practices, one interlocutor.

They are rarely found in the same house. They belong together, because the company you are digitising is the company you will one day sell, and the proceeds are what the family office will have to hold.

01

Private Capital

Acquisitions, fundraising and portfolio construction. We prepare the company for the transaction and the transaction for the company, then stay through execution rather than handing over a memorandum.

  • Buy-side and sell-side preparation
  • Fundraising strategy and investor materials
  • Valuation framing and deal structuring
  • Portfolio review and follow-on decisions
02

Digital & AI Adoption

From intention to deployment: where automation and artificial intelligence actually move margin, which tools fit the systems already in place, how the data and the teams get ready, and how the result is governed once it is live.

  • Diagnosis of processes and data maturity
  • Tool selection and vendor negotiation
  • Pilot design, rollout and team training
  • Governance, risk and regulatory alignment
03

Family Office Advisory

For families holding operating businesses alongside private market positions across several jurisdictions: structuring, oversight, and a single place where the whole picture is held.

  • Holding and governance structures
  • Allocation across operating and financial assets
  • Succession and next-generation preparation
  • Coordination of banks, counsel and auditors
Sectors

Where we work, and what we are usually called about.

Private capital & family holdings

Investment vehicles, family offices, operating holdings, and individuals building a private market portfolio alongside a business.

Typical mandates: designing a holding structure that survives a succession, reviewing a portfolio nobody has looked at as a whole, deciding whether to follow on or exit.

Information technology & software

Software publishers, SaaS companies, systems integrators, managed service providers and infrastructure operators.

Typical mandates: pricing and contract architecture for a move to subscription, preparing a company for an industrial or financial buyer, resolving the ownership of code and models before a round.

Digital, media & commerce

Marketplaces and e-commerce operators, platforms, agencies, publishers and content businesses.

Typical mandates: rebuilding a customer data stack that can be audited, automating operations without losing the service, valuing an audience-based business ahead of a raise.

Parapharmaceuticals & health products

Laboratories, dermocosmetics and supplement brands, medical device makers, importers and regional distributors.

Typical mandates: structuring distribution across the Levant and the Gulf, bringing regulatory and quality documentation to European standards, buying or selling a brand within a family group.

The name

Achrafieh and Eos

Achrafieh has never belonged to one world. Greek Orthodox and Maronite, Armenian and Syriac, Sunni and Shia, Levantine and French and, lately, Gulf and diaspora — the quarter has spent two centuries putting people who pray differently, speak differently and count differently around the same table, and getting business done anyway.

That is a particular skill, and it is not a sentimental one. It means reading a room where four legal traditions, three languages and two notions of what a handshake is worth are all present at once. It means knowing which assurance a Gulf shareholder needs before the European fund will hear anything, and in which order. Most deals in this region do not fail on the numbers.

Eos is the other half. In Greek myth she is the one who opens the day — she does not make the sun, she arrives before it, and her arrival tells everyone else what is coming. That is the role we take on a file: to see the next move while there is still room to choose it, rather than to explain it afterwards.

A crossroads and a first light. Everything we do sits between those two: anticipating, and translating between the worlds that have to agree.

Approach

What you should expect from us.

One interlocutor, not a committee

You speak to the person doing the work. Nothing is relayed through an account manager, and nothing is rewritten on the way to you.

Advice that is executable here

Plans that work in a seminar rarely survive a Lebanese bank, a Gulf regulator or a European data authority. We tell you what can actually be done, in what order, and at what cost.

Discretion as a working method

We do not publish client names, case studies or logos. What is discussed stays between the parties, which is usually why we were called.

Three languages, four legal traditions

We work in English, French and Arabic, and we are used to files where the company, the capital and the family each sit in a different jurisdiction.

Tell us what you are weighing.

A first conversation costs nothing and is confidential. If we are not the right house for the file, we will say so and point you to who is.

Trois langues, quatre traditions juridiques
